Final Fantasy Infinite
The South Gate is a gate carved and expanded from the natural path the Axis River has through the mountains. Mages spent a long time reshaping the landscape to give safe and quick travel. Few on-foot travelers use South Gate, but the most common path is following the river from Dali to Midgar and from there to Treno.
Like North Gate, South Gate provides a resting spot and safe harbor for weary travelers and caravans, along with the ability to resupply and restock. Travel through the gate is not permitted for those without proper authorization.
